Saturday January 26th marked our first conservation action day for this year so Happy New Year! We started small. New volunteer, Sajjid, helped trim back overhanging vegetation along the woodland path. Overhanging vegetation can be dangerous along the path as the ivy covering can mask the presence of hard branches! Imagine one banging into your head – we monitor frequently. We also removed bramble and some wild rose from areas where it should not be in the Healing Garden.
